Standard White Cabinet Construction

White melamine-faced particleboard is a practical base option commonly used for kitchen cabinet interiors. Coordinated edging and visible panels can create a unified exterior, and standard white can also suit an economical reach-in closet interior. MDF is not presented as Roomidea's standard cabinet-box material.

Wood-Based Cabinet Options

Solid wood is best suited to doors and visible decorative components. Cabinet-box choices can include real-wood-veneer-faced particleboard with a clear lacquer finish or prefinished plywood. Samples, specifications, and availability are confirmed by project.

Hardware & Motion

Basic motion hardware is selected around door and drawer behaviour, cabinet layout, load, and daily use. Product-specific accessories remain part of each product discussion.

Soft-Close Hinges

Soft-close is Roomidea's current standard direction. Specialized opening functions and premium options, which may include Blum or Salice, are selected where the door and project require them.

Drawer Systems

Closet and wardrobe drawers commonly use side-mount soft-close systems. Kitchen and bathroom vanity drawers commonly use concealed undermount soft-close systems. Final selection depends on design, space, load, and project requirements.

Handles & Pulls

Handle samples can be reviewed in the showroom, and many standard styles are commonly included. Customers may also request alternate selections or supply their own handles where appropriate.

Integrated Cabinet Lighting

Cabinet lighting can be planned together with the cabinetry from the beginning, allowing the lighting locations, channels, wiring and controls to be coordinated with the finished design.

Lighting Locations

Lighting can be integrated into closet verticals, shelving and hanging rods, cabinet interiors, under kitchen wall cabinets, display cabinetry, glass shelves, TV walls and other built-ins. Final placement is planned around the cabinet design and how the space will be used.

Colour Temperature & Controls

Choose from 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 6500K fixed-colour lighting, or tunable-white options from 3000K to 6500K. Available controls may include door activation, motion or hand-wave sensing, touch dimming, and handheld or fixed remote control. Selected tunable systems can remember the last colour-temperature setting.

LED Products & Components

Roomidea can supply selected LED strips, aluminum channels, translucent diffusers, plug-in power supplies, low-voltage wiring and common control components as part of a coordinated cabinetry project. Final products are selected according to the lighting design, installation conditions and current availability.

Factory-Integrated Lighting

Lighting channels can be planned before production and CNC-cut directly into the cabinet components. Roomidea can install aluminum profiles and diffusers, prepare low-voltage wiring paths, and pre-install LED strips and quick-connect leads where selected. This creates cleaner detailing and makes final on-site completion easier.
